During the past two years, my ambition turned into a clear vision. And that vision became a promising concept “to create a social media platform that changes the ways of intergenerational communication forever!” Therefore I joined De Noorderlingen. To continue to develop personally and to take the next steps in realizing this project.
The internet, and specifically Social Media platforms, revolutionized the way modern generations communicate and exchange knowledge. Compared to previous generations, like our grandparents, not only can we stay virtually connected to people that are on the other side of the planet, but we also have media evidence that documents almost everything that we experience.
My name is Albert Kofi Twene-Yeboah, I am studying International Marketing Management at the Hanzehogeschool, and I am another relentless dreamer who tries to leave a mark on this world.

We, humans, tend to learn and understand how to use tools best by playing and exploring boundaries, in both positive and negative directions. However, I believe that the same applies to the tool ‘Social Media’.
History is no longer SOLEY written by the victors.
No information needs to be forgotten as almost everyone can have a voice that is being heard. We are the ones that are making it through a global pandemic, participating or witnessing various social movements and developments, while facing the largest environmental challenge that this world has seen in recent times.
But with new technologies emerging, one privilege that our generation has compared to our ancestors, is that we can start to answer the questions that our descendants most definitively will have for us in the future.
Besides changing the narrative of historical documentation, this concept aims to change and empower the narrator. We have about eight billion perspectives and every individuum’s perception is valuable as it contributes to our collective knowledge.

Growing up in between different cultures and technological generations made me highly adaptable, which helped me to understand the importance of inclusion and to see the beauty of diversity. Therefore, this platform will empower all communities and individuals to respectfully share their history, their perceptions, views, and experiences with the current and future generations.
